The conference venue and many hotels are located in the Jungmun Resort Complex on the southern part of Jeju Island. You can experience sub-tropical weather and enjoy the beautiful beaches here. BlogTalk 2009 and Lift Asia 09 recommend that you stay at the following hotels at reduced prices.
How to Reserve a Hotel Room
Our conference venue is the Hyatt Regency Jeju; nearby are the Shilla Hotel (100 metres), the Suites Hotel (150 metres), the Lotte Hotel and the Hana Hotel (both 200 metres away), ordered by distance. We recommend that you check out our accommodation page and also TripAdvisor's information and price comparisons for each hotel. Here are some more criteria for choosing a hotel (according to your preferences):
- For great ocean views, very near, but older and smaller rooms: Hyatt Regency Jeju
- For family, facilities, high-quality service, but a little expensive: Shilla Hotel
- For cheap and comfortable, but smaller rooms: Suites Hotel
- For a very cheap price, but older and smaller rooms: Hana Hotel
We recommend that you reserve hotels through our travel agency. You can contact Mr. Namguk Kim at YB Tour (e-mail [email protected] or phone +82-2-2022-2427); the website is in Korean only. He will recommend a suitable hotel for you according to your financial requirements (ranging from 50 USD to 200 USD per night).
You can reserve a domestic airline flight from Seoul (Gimpo) to Jeju and various tour programmes with Mr. Kim as well. The Hyatt Regency Jeju
This is a luxury five-star hotel in a spectacular resort. The hotel features restaurants and 224 rooms with suites overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The hotel has indoor and outdoor pools with a swim-up bar, a casino, a karaoke bar, and the Aqua View Spa with six treatment rooms.
The Hyatt Regency Jeju offers easy access to the Jungmun Golf Club, to museums and to other natural island attractions.
- Price per night: 150,000 KRW ($120) for mountain views and 170,000 KRW ($136) for ocean views
- Breakfast is included for one person, an extra breakfast is 20,000 KRW

The Shilla Jeju
