BlogTalk 2009 accepted for publication in Springer LNCS

Thank you for your successful participation in the BlogTalk 2009 conference. We hope you enjoyed the event.

It is our pleasure to confirm that the BlogTalk Asia 2009 / 6th International Conference on Social Software has been accepted for post-proceedings publication in Springer's LNCS (Lecture Notes in Computer Science).

We will be writing to all presenters shortly with details for submitting papers.

Social activities for BlogTalk 2009

BlogTalk 2009 is about to begin in Jeju. All of the speakers have arrived, and we will finish the programme tomorrow.

The number of participants will be between 60 and 70. Although it is a small conference, you will be able to meet and talk with experts interested in the Social Web. Also, we will try to do our best to make the event as convenient as possible for you.

I have attached a new version of the conference brochure with a revised timetable. Please check the timetable if you are speaking or just attending.

Social Activity 1: Jeju Olle Tracking

Early bird has been extended until 31st August

Dear possible participant of Blog Talk 2009!

Most of our speakers and participants have requested that we extend the early bird date for registration because of financial approvals / decision making processes. Therefore we have extended the date to 31st August. Please invite your colleagues to participate in our conference as well.

Also, you can refer to our simple steps for registration and for reserving your flights and hotel.

소셜 서비스에 대한 국제 콘퍼런스인 '블로그토크(BlogTalk) 2009'가 2009년 9월 15-16 양일간 제주 하이야트 리젠시 호텔에서 열리게 되어 관심이 집중되고 있다.

여섯번째 열리는 이 행사는 2003년 부터 매년 유럽과 호주 등지에서 개최되었다고 올해는 서울대 치과대학 김홍기 교수팀 주관으로 아시아 지역에서 처음 개최한다.

블로그토크는 2003년 부터 인터넷 기반 사람간 커뮤니케이션 도구에 관심을 가지고 메신저, 블로그, 태그 및 폭소노미, 소셜 네트웍 서비스 등에 관심을 가진 학계 및 업계의 연구자들이 함께 만나는 콘퍼런스로서 자리매김하고 있다".

올해는 미 하버드대 버크만센터 아이작 마오(Mao) 박사와 오마이뉴스 창립자인 오연오 대표가 주제 발표자로 나선다.

Attend Lift Asia after BlogTalk
